- Hosshinmon-oji to Kumano Hongu Taisha on foot (~7 km) plus a visit to Kumano Hayatama Taisha and Kumano Nachi Taisha ✅
- Koyasan to Kumano Hongu Taisha on foot (~70 km)

Tanabe: DJANGO Hostel (Agoda)
Day 1 - 1/18
Morning: bento @ My Asa across the street from Django
Bus Tanabe -> Takajiri-oji
Hike Takajiri-oji -> Chikatsuyu
Accomodation:
- SEN. RETREAT CHIKATSUYU (via Booking.com)
- Tororoya とろろや (restaurant) or A Co-op コープ (grocery store) for dinner, although I think the hotel will provide dinner options
Day 2 1/19
Breakfast + Bento: A co-op (?) or the cafe up the road
Chikatsuyu -> Hongu Taisha -> Kawayu Onsen
Accomodation: Guesthouse Yui (Agoda)
Dinner: TBD (several options near the shrine and hotel)
Day 3 1/20
Morning: breakfast + bento from Y-Shop konbini
- Also stock up on snacks here – Koguchi has only one store, and I don’t want to bank on what might be in stock there
Kawayu Onsen -> Koguchi

Dinner + Breakfast + Bento provided by @koguchi

Koguchi -> Nachi (and bus to Katsuura)
