Build

This site is build with Hugo. It’s themed with a variation of the Archie theme, which I’ve copied into the themes/archie directory.

Password Protection

The password configuration is probably the most complex part of the server setup. This site’s DNS is handled by Cloudflare, and it uses Cloudflare’s Zero Trust platform to handle authentication.

This is really only devised so that I can give access to a handful of people, primarily myself and any friends or family that want access to some subset of these notes.

There are two access policies: one for me, and one for me + friends & family. The former allows me to access all of these notes, and the latter is restricted to things under notes.reesew.io/travel-plans.

I couldn’t figure out how to give everyone, say, a single password, so instead what I did is to allowlist emails and I can add people in as needed.
